Abu was my twin older brother and, like myself, he was an Assassin, a Master Assassin, to be exact. As for me, I only just recently joined the Brotherhood, immediately being taken under the wing of Abu himself. Al Mualim, the Grand Master of the Assassin's Order, felt that I should be placed with my sibling, thinking I would learn my skills much more quickly and move up the ranks a little faster than normal. She was terrified, she had never had to fight for her life as she was doing at that moment.. She was good with the sword because Malik had made sure to train her well, but she didn't have the skills of a swordsman, or enough strength to withstand the melee fight for long. She was an archer. The Templar, however, had probably been trained to always fight with the sword or with the hatchet.
She tried to look as frightened as possible, which in those circumstances wasn't too difficult, and deflected and stopped the blows of the Templar with apparently desperate gestures. Her short stature made it tiring for her enemy to have to fight leaning forward. She'd n
